The Windows app

• Audio. Amp S Again applies its effect to the sound your PC plays. The sound is processed in memory, on your PC, and played straight to your speakers or headphones. It is never recorded, saved or transmitted.
• Microphone permission. Your PC's sound reaches Amp S Again through the VB-Cable virtual audio cable, which Windows lists as a microphone. That is why Windows asks for microphone access. Amp S Again only reads this virtual cable, never your real microphone, and only to apply the effect locally.
• License activation. When you enter a license or gift code, the app sends to our license server (tube-s-again.com): the code, your computer's name, and a random activation number. Each time the app starts, it sends the code and that activation number to check that the license is still valid. We keep the code, the computer name, and the dates of activation and of the last check, so you can see and free your activated PCs.
• Settings. Your settings (equalizer, mode, level for each audio device) and a technical log stay on your PC, in your Windows user folder. They are never sent to us.
• The app contains no advertising, no tracking and no third-party analytics.

This website

• Statistics. We measure visits with Matomo, hosted on our own server, without cookies. We use these statistics only to improve the site (pages viewed, audio player and video usage, downloads).
• Community forum. If you create a forum account, we store your username, email address, password (encrypted) and the messages you post, to run the forum.
• We do not sell or share your data with anyone.

Your choices and rights

• You can free an activated PC at any time from the app (tray menu › License › Deactivate this PC).
• You can ask us to see, correct or delete the data linked to your license or forum account.
